About The Course

Following the guidance provided by the Health and Safety Executive, this course will provide a basic understanding of the do’s and don’ts of manual handling, helping to minimise bad practice and reduce the risk of injury.

Aims of the course

To make employees aware of the risks and be able recognise common manual handling hazards and the components of a suitable assessment, to encourage them to take positive preventative actions, and select the most appropriate workplace precautions.
