The Working at Height training course helps trainees understand the requirements of working safely by following the HSE’s Guidance note 'Safe use of ladders and stepladders' INDG 455.
Aims of the course
The Working at Height course can help your organisation become compliant with the Work at Height Regulations. It’s designed to promote a culture that encourages everyone to consider the risks associated with working at height, plan ahead using risk assessments and follow safe procedures while undertaking work.

The course is aimed at all levels of employees who may undertake or plan work at height.

2. DEFINING THE PROBLEM
What is working at height? How big is the problem? Where do injuries occur? High risk tasks.
Do you need to work at height? The prevention of falls hierarchy.
Introduction to assessment, making an assessment, keeping records.
Ladders, scaffolding, mobile elevated work platforms.
A short assessment comprising of a series of questions to test your knowledge and understanding of the course.
